Found your blog through a web search while looking for a term I learned just last night, flumgudgeon. Apparently the first paper in Portland, OR, was called The Flumgudgeon Review and Bumblebee Budget (3 or so years before the Oregonian emerged). Just thought you’d be interested in this little tidbit factoid.
